Job Position: Clinical Assistant / Dental Surgery Assistant
Job Details:
- Salary range: Basic MYR 1800 - MYR 3000 (negotiable)
Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: SPM.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Full Training Provided)
- Fresh graduates from dental assisting / nursing programmes are encouraged to apply
- Good communication skills (English and Malay)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, team player, caring and responsible
- Willing to learn and follow clinical SOPs
- Able to work weekends (rotational off day)
- A good team player and a good learning attitude.
- Able to work in Mont Kiara, Sunway Velocity, Subang, Bukit Bintang, and Jalan Ipoh
Responsibility:
Chairside Assistance:
- Assist dentist during all dental procedures (4-handed dentistry).
- Prepare and arrange instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Manage suctioning, retraction, mixing materials, chairside documentation.
- Set up treatment rooms before each procedure and ensure smooth workflow.
Infection Control & Sterilisation:
- Follow strict sterilisation, disinfection, and instrument handling protocols.
- Operate autoclave and maintain clean, safe environment.
- Ensure compliance with clinic SOPs and MOH infection control standards.
Patient Care:
- Ensure patient comfort throughout the visit.
- Support dentists in managing patient flow efficiently.
Administrative Support:
- Update patient records (training provided).
- Assist with stock checking, inventory, and clinic housekeeping.
- Support front desk when needed.
